Great review, thanks! I would just like to add that the Axiom 25 also has to be set to "Zone 1" and "Group A" for this to work with the impulse. This can be done by hitting the "Zone/Group" button then hitting the 1 button in the zone group (Loop icon) and the "A" button in the Group set of buttons (Stop button) - Enjoy, this keyboard is incredible for the money. One more tip - I like to set my cross fader to the mode wheel in midi asign for smooth action for DJ sets. It works much better than the knobs at the top.
